Hold fast! One of the most sensational and extraordinary musical projects in Europe! Listening to "Sundials' Time" you can appreciate the union of the classical-symphonic choral matrix with jazz tradition , thanks to the interaction between two subjects of the highest caliber: the Chorus of White Voices of The Teatro Regio and of the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory of Turin and the jazz Trio by Luigi Martinale, Italian pianist of rare elegance and refinement. The Chorus of the Teatro Regio of Turin is one of the greatest Italian musical institutions, national flag bearer in the world and led by Maestro Claudio Fenoglio, musical director at the highest international levels. The result is enchanting: an ecstatic beauty never heared elsewhere. The project is configured as an original proposal entirely made in Italy.
The repertoire consists of pieces, written in four hands by Luigi Martinale and M ° Claudio Fenoglio, the texts are by Mauro Ginestrone, author and theater director and author of prose and lyrical interpreter. "Sundials' Time" is showing a great intensity, beauty of the compositions, the expressive intensity and a chorus of young voices that manages to create a dense and deep atmosphere with nuances that are not obvious.
In Sundials' Time, the passing of time is narrated with a poetic syncretism where the language of Jazz, more commonly English, is juxtaposed to the Latin language, very present and alive in the symphonic music of every age.
